Should I Buy A Guitar From A Guitar Maker Or A Factory?

It can never be denied that in every wedding there is that moment when the mother fully absorbs the realization that her boy is now really going to have a family of his own. Indeed the cord that binds that of a mother and her son transcends any boundaries. So that when it's the son's turn to take his bride, the mother is of high hopes that her son will never forget the lessons she has taught him.

Dog as Pets

People often give up their pets for various reasons. First and foremost, pets are living creatures, able to feel fear, love, pain, loneliness, and joy. They should never be considered as throwaway property, for they should be considered as the members of the family. There are several things that should be taken into consideration while taking [...]

pearl-jam-plans-20th-anniversary-festival

Wow! This will be an absolutely AMAZING way to pay tribute to their beginnings!

In honor of the 20 anniversary of the release of their first album, alternative rock band Pearl Jam is reportedly in talks to stage a two-day musical festival in "the middle of America," and featuring a variety of other acts!

Their manager, Kelly Curtis, reveals that the band will headline both nights, and will take place sometime in late summer, when Cameron Crowe's documentary chronicling their career is expected to drop.

Bassist Jeff Ament explains:

"We've played enough festivals that we know what makes them exciting. We want to give people places to go that aren't necessarily musical — second stages and all that kind of stuff. We're asking our friends if they want to play a couple of shows with us."

So cool! What a nice way to revisit the early '90s, and the music from that time!

We bet a lot of people are going to be VERY excited about this one!

What do U think?? Are U excited for a Pearl Jam anniversary concert??

Why You Should Start a Network Marketing Business

This article is an account of my first, yet most harrowing, experience in watching a magic show in Bucas Grande Island, Socorro, Surigao del Norte, Philippines. The magic show's closer featured the magician driving the spirit out of her lady assistant's body using his magic wand but such spirit failed to return to her body due to an anti-magic arcane material of one of the spectators. The lady assistant's life went back to normal after a teary-eyed magician's appeal for the concerned spectator to remove such anti-magic arcane material being buried within the vicinity.

The Language Of Music An Art Form

If you go into any major music store all you see hanging on the walls is the same old guitars. They all have that generic look, the same finish they have had for over 50 years, and they all come in the same boring stock colors. If there is any Guitar Art on the guitars, it is from the factory, and it is boring looking.

Mark Madoff, the son of convicted Ponzi-schemer Bernie Madoff, who is currently serving a 150-year prison sentence, was found dead in his Manhattan apartment early Saturday morning of an apparent suicide.

Madoff was found hanging from a ceiling pipe with a dog leash around his neck. His father-in-law discovered his body.

His two-year-old child was also allegedly asleep in a nearby bedroom at the time, unharmed.

It is unknown whether or not he left a suicide note, however prior to his death, Madoff emailed his wife in Florida with "words to the effect that someone should check on his son."

His death occurred on the second anniversary of his father's arrest.

Wow. So sad.

Depiction of Gender in Renaissance Art

First off the Ancient Egyptian civilization has fascinated me since I was a young child. I can proudly claim to have more books on this era of history than our local library, books authored by such specialists as Massy, Shaw or Redford. I will first identify and provide some information on the image in question. The bust in question is that of Queen Tiye of Egypt often referred to as the Cat Goddess. Queen Tiye was the mother of Akhenaten and Amenhotep IV. She was eventually to become the grandmother of one of ancient Egypt's most popular and most known pharaohs, King Tut.

And so … the rain continues to fall here in SoCal. I’m not gonna lie, while I can appreciate the change of pace … the continuous rain is starting to be a real downer. I spent all of yesterday holed up indoors, trying to stay out of the cold wetness inside … and also spent much of my time trying to extract the constructive criticism from some of y’all about your feelings regarding the new layout of Pink is the new Blog.

Believe me, from the bottom of my heart … I am very thankful for all the feedback … both good and bad. Yes, it is much easier to read the positive comments but the passionate negative comments are very enlightening. I’ve been blogging for a very long time. It started out as a hobby but over time it turned into a passion and has been my livlihood for quite some time now. While nothing would make me happier than to please all people, all the time … that simply cannot be. When I started blogging, there was no TMZ … major news publications never dared to lower themselves to the blog format … and it was pretty much the Wild West of the Blogosphere (oh yeah, we used to use that word, too). My initial blog format was to write one big, long post per day and squeeze in as much daily goss as I could in that one post. The only reason that was my format of choice was because my poor HTML skills wouldn’t allow me to do anything else. It took a long time for me to risk changing EVERYTHING into a totally new format a few years ago … and then again now. It’s clear that some folks don’t like this new layout, and I can totally appreciate that. I’m listening to the dislikes and working towards finding a way to find a middle ground … as I said yesterday, nothing is set in stone. At the end of the day, I still really love what I do. I still really LOVE keeping up on pop culture and celebs and sharing my thoughts on all the funnest stuff. That is what I have been doing since I started blogging and that is what I plan to do for as long as I can. Blog culture is so different now than it was when I started. Now, major corporations with seemingly endless amounts of money fund seemingly endless numbers of blogs. I’m still just one person. In order for me to be able to continue to do what I love doing … I need to grow, adapt, change. Of course it is not my intention to alienate anyone, least of all you beloved readers who seem to enjoy what I do … but in order for me to be able to keep on bloggin’, things gotta change from time to time.

To those of you sending in your well wishes, positive comments and love — words cannot express what that has meant to me in the past 24 hours. To those of you honestly sharing your thoughts — both good and bad — I honestly love you for taking the time to share those thoughts with me. My end goal has been and will continue to be to keep writing Pink is the new Blog. I’m happy and thankful for any and everyone who wants to keep reading along.

Ricky has 3 more nights in Puerto Rico before he brings his tour to the mainland for a tour of the rest of the US before he takes the show international. The Deceptively Widespread Attraction of Classical Opera

Quality of their instrument was and continues to be of utmost importance to guitar musicians. The Martin Guitar's move to quality is a family legend of luck and innovation. From 1833 until the present day, Martin Guitars has been the stuff of mystery. The stern, disciplined descendants of C.F.Martin have been faithful to his quality standards to a high degree. A lot of time and work still goes into the making of a Martin guitar, just as it did in 1833.

We are just about 1 week away from Xmas but it would seem that Xmas has come early for Britney Spears and her family. Britney‘s home is already decked out from top to bottom in festive holiday lights … signaling to Santa Claus that her children Sean Preston and Jayden James are anxiously awaiting his arrival this year!

The pop superstar has gone to town on her outdoor festive lighting in the same way excitable Clark did in 1989 comedy National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. The Toxic singer has caked her sprawling Calabasas, California, property in miles of fairy lights, glowing rooftop angels, Santas, little drummer boys, baubles, stars and an illuminated Father Christmas. Even Britney-knockers must agree she’s created a magical setting for her two young sons SEAN PRESTON and JAYDEN JAMES this Yuletide. However, presumably Britney wasn’t as hands-on in the decorative process as CHEVY CHASE’S alter-ego was.

Yeah, I doubt that Britney was crawling all over her sprawling manse tacking up Xmas lights … but I could see how Brit’s beau Jason Trawick might’ve gotten drafted for the job ;) Our family never got into the habit of hanging Xmas lights on our home but we certainly appreciate the efforts of others who annually decorate their homes in such a festive manner. Even the homes that look a bit tacky seem to put a smile on people’s faces. To be honest, I don’t think Britney over did the decorations on her home … sure, there are a lot of lights but it deffo gives off a festive vibe. Happy Holidays and Merry Britmas, y’all!!
